Benefits to the New Space

Signs for the new space

Unit 3 of Rapid Prototyping, which is a math and art class. In unit 3 we learned about different tools and if they have torque or leverage. We also discussed safety in work environment. We had to make our own life hack. We also looked at Ikea hacks too and Instructables after that we had to make and design  something for the new space our school is moving into. I am proud of my sign, it took hours to make.

The project I made was a sign for the bathroom. Since we have a new space we need signs so each student knows where everything is.I made a sign made out of wood It is a creative way to make your house or school interesting on a budget. This was My Inspiration it is a poster of inspiration poster made out of cardboard. During the FE one of the ladies said that "we should be inspired by anything you feel no matter what it is" My time lapse shows the cutting of the design for the stencil. I used my friends phone to take the time lapse so I didn’t have to shorten it is 14 seconds. To make my sign I didn't have to use torque. Torque is rotation the bigger the handle the more torque there is.

Materials
-cardboard or wood (what you prefer)
- saw (for wood)
- markers/paint
- glue
- string
- lights (optional)
- spray paint
- X-acto knife

As far as safety, I had to use  a saw to cut the wood which is very dangerous without safety gear. For example, goggles in case the wood flies into the air. Fortunately there were no accidents while using it.  My Instruct ables page  My Instruct ables Page which has everything and more of my project and how it turned out.

  1. I learned to plan ahead or make sure you have an exact idea of what you’re doing
     2. Make sure you can get all the materials that you need
3.Do your blog as you go as well as the Instruct ables page because you won’t have to remember
     4. Make sure you  have a good stencil paper or a backup idea that is quick just in case.
     5. Make sure you can the design by hand.
